Introducing our first event for 2015: 1st WOFEX Iloilo

With the success of our first catalogue show last year at Boracay, we are now having our first WOFEX in Iloilo!

Iloilo is a melting pot in the Western Visayas. It is surrounded by the Seafood Capital of the Philippines -Capiz; Biggest tourist destination - Boracay; World’s Sweetest Mangoes – Guimaras; and the Sugar Capital of the Philippines - Bacolod.

With the rapid growth of economy in the Visayas, more businesses have shifted to this region. More hotels, resorts, and restaurants have opened up resulting to an increase in the number of tourist visits in the area.

The city’s challenge, however, is to create a tourism industry worthy of international interest. WOFEX will pave the way for global exposure and new markets. The presence of WOFEX Iloilo in the region will significantly increase the influx of foreign and local guests, alike. Being the most prestigious food event in the country, WOFEX will open doors for more opportunities to expand your business and be known in the hospitality industry. The event will be a great venue to meet local and foreign buyers and sellers.

Also, with the intent of providing advanced education to both the hospitality industry and academe, WOFEX is taking its year-round series of training programs through the WOFEX University. The participants will learn new trends and techniques that are not usually learned from proper schooling.
